Becoming the best

Akiru made his way to the school. He knew that he would have no problems becoming an even higher rank in the army if he only tried harder in his studies. He took his place and waited for class to begin. This may be the day he gets his wish...

Hitori walked into the class with the same old blank look on her face. After killing so many people for Daisuke she had become numb. After all of these years Daisuke has decided that she's good enough to fight in his army, so even though she had been fighting for him all this time, rules are rules and she still needs to go to school.

Akiru sighed as he watched Hitori walk in. It was apparent that he was bored of this place.
He wanted something to do besides waiting around. Thats when the instructor walked in.

"Lord Daisuke himself has requested to speak to the following students directly..."
The instructor had cold and careless eyes. Akiru wondered what it was about.

Hitori didn't even look up at the instructor. She had no interest at all.

" Akiru Emiru and Hitori. report to your lord immediately. That is all."
The instructor said then moved to his desk and sat down. Akiru stood up and hid a smile.
"Alright. Im on myway. Coming, Hitori?" He asked as he moved to the door.

She didn't say anything as she stood up and walked towards the door. She didn't look at Akiru, for she had no interests in making any friends.

Akiru headed out the door with Hitori.
"Wonder what the lord wants with us..."
He mumbled then looked at Hitori.
"Hey, say somethin."

Hitori looked over at him for a moment.
"..."
She turned away.
"I... Don't like talking...."

"Oh, come on, why not?" He looked her over."I got you to talk. Come on. Say something else. you can do it."He joked.

She glared at him.
"I don't find you amusing. It's best if we didn't talk..."

"Oh, but I find you amusing. Come on."He teased as he continued to travel the long corridor.

"Do I seem like I'm joking?"
She turned away from him.
"I'm not here for your amusement..."

"Just talk. Not like it'll kill ya."He said as he looked forward.

"No,"
Her gaze was strongly upon him.
"But it might kill you."

"Really?"He crossed his arms."And how do you figure that, Hitori?-chan?"

"Correction, I might kill you."
She gave him one more of her too familiar blank stares and went back to staring at the ground.

((You do realize that Daisuke isn't even in the village. It's basically some guy being mind controlled by Daisuke.))

"Well, you can try..."He replied with a playful smirk.

"Okay, correction number two, I will have people kill you if you do not leave me alone."
She started walking faster hoping to get away from Akiru. Unfourtunately, she had a feeling that this would end up in her eventually talking.

He rushed up beside her."Oh really? Who? Who?"He prodded.

She gave in. All she wanted was for him to shut up. She never thought she could find something that she hates more then talking.
"Nevermind... It's not important... What exactly do you want me to talk about?"

"Anything. Why dont you like to talk?"He asked with a smile.

"Because I was told that people would never be interested in me for who I am, that they always wanted something out of it."
She paused for a moment.
"And there's the fact that I've been a cold hearted killer for as long as I can remember..."

"Well, Im interested. Killing happens. Might as well smile."He said playfully.

"How can you smile when you've killed people that did nothing to you. When you killed people for no reason. When..."
She stopped herself. Her emotions were getting the better part of her and that might be the worse possible thing that could happen.
"Nevermind... Can we talk about something else?"

"Noooot really. I see you have emotions afterall. Oh, and by the way, It is kill or be killed..."
