The Next Day

Hitori walked over to Warui. Wondering what was wrong with him. She placed on hadn on his shoulder.
"Hey Warui, what's wrong?"

"I....I...Have to.....to....go....home...Back to Manchester.....Back to....England..."
Warui stood as still as stone.

"Why? What happened?"
She said as she wrapped her arms around him to give him a comforting hug.

"...My dad died..."
Warui put his head on his desk and cried.

"Oh."
She stood there wide eyed for a moment. She didn't know what to say since she'd never really had a family, or at least not one she cared about.

Warui got up and exited the room, not saying a word.

"Warui..."
She decided to follow him. From the looks of it, this was a big deal to him.

He continued down the hall.
"Go back to class."
He could smell Hitori following him.

"No."
She said a little hesitantly.
"I want to make sure you're alright..."
'And I have something to tell you...'

"I'm fine. Fucked-up, Indecisive, Neurotic, and Emotional. Now go away. I need Warui time."
Warui tried to pull this off and make it seem like he was alright, but it fell flat.
"I'm sorry..."

She looked down at the ground, a little sad about the things that he had said.
"..."
She looked up at him.
"Do you really want me to leave you alone?"

"No. I need a friend right now."
Warui sat down.
"It's gonna be a long flight back to Manchester..."

Yoruchi had watched the two leave the room, rubbing his temples and deciding to let this one go. But not without someone keeping an eye on them.

"Tatsu, go check on Warui and make sure he's alright."

Tatsuya gave one short nod, getting out of his seat and rushing out of the room. He walked through the halls, looking like he was hugging himself, and followed his nose all the way to Warui and Hitori. When he found them, he stopped, staring at the ground and looking nervous. "U-um.. a-are.. y-you o-o-okay..??"

Hitori felt really bad for Warui and looked at Tatsu. "That's a stupid question.." She gave Warui a hug.

"Piss off. I'll fucking kill you."
Warui glared at Tatsuya.

His ears fell back, and he took a few steps away. "I-I'm s-sorry.. I-I d-didn't know.. I-I was j-just s-sent t-to.. m-make s-sure y-you w-were a-a-alright.. I-I.. I-I-I h-hope.. y-you f-feel.. b-better.."

He didn't wait for them to reply, turning around and running away, his hands into fists and covering his mouth.

Hitoshi watched as a boy with animal ears who looked scared and upset ran past him, turning his eyes and looking at Hiroti and Warui. He walked until he was standing in front of them, staring down with a blank stare at Hitori, and glancing at Warui for a brief second. "You.. your lack of loyalty has weakened you.. spending your valuable time with worthlessness, what are you thinking."

He looked to Warui. "Say your last goodbyes, Hitori, it is time."

"Hitoshi, can you leave me alone for a few minutes? Let me rephrase that."
She stood up straight staring at Hitoshi with her emotionless eyes.
"Hitoshi, you WILL leave me alone for a few minutes if you plan on living another day."
Her voice sounded very angry and threatning.

"The only reason you're here is to enhance your skills. You've failed to do so properly, I don't understand why we keep you. But, as you wish, I will leave you two alone for a few minutes with you're pathetic human-like emotions. But if you don't come with me, Daisuke will come for you." He turned his head, glancing at her once before walking away.

"Yeah, well fuck Daisuke..."
Warui buried his head in his arms.
"I didn't want to work for him anyways...."

Hitori face-palmed herself and looked at Warui.
'He wasn't talking about you...'
She wraped her arms around Warui again.
"Warui, I hate to tell you this, especially now, but I have more news for you... You decide if it's good or bad."

"..."
Warui sat with his head in his arms.
"It's probably bad. Could you tell Tatsuya I'm sorry? I didn't mean to snap like that..."
Warui looked up.
"Lay it on me, doc."

"Today is my last day... I've been...."
She struggled for the right words, how to explain something she knew was coming all along. She stood quiet for a moment, trying to put this nicely and in as little words as possible, explain that it's no longer her choice.
"Drafted.."

Warui lifted his head and smiled weakly.
"Day has officially gone from 'Bad' to 'Fucked Up Beyond Any Hope or Reason'. At least you told me. I want to tell you....that....Never mind."
Warui put his head back in his arms.
"Just go....Leave me alone....Please..."
